We are a community at First Baptist Lakewood (1BL), committed to knowing God and making him known. Eighteen25 identifies the need for a specific ministry aimed at the college-age adults. When we come together as a community we open up God's word. There is music that we collectively participate in to give honor to God. We are gathering to encourage each other and align with other like-minded people. While the form varies from week to week, these elements remain.

If you've never been to Eighteen25, we are excited to welcome you. Feel free to participate as you feel comfortable. Those of us that call Eighteen25 home are a part of something that is more than a spectator event. We are willing to engage together and experience a different kind of church.

One thing that defines our community is the way that we serve. We have a collection of opportunities available to everyone (click here to learn more).  Most of these opportunities are invitations for individuals and smaller groups. We regularly participate in service opportunities as a whole group. Our hope is that the reputation of Eighteen25 would be one that meets the practical and spiritual needs of people in the greater Long Beach area and beyond.
 
We encourage people to participate in our weekend services at 1BL. We are a church with a rich history and as a community within our church, we align ourselves with the beliefs and commitments of 1BL.
