what is encounter?

it's a musical night of worship, which means we're going to gather together and sings songs of praise of the GOD we love.

that sounds good. who is it for?

what if I am two and under?

let me rephrase: what if I have a child 2 and under?

okay, that makes more sense. we will have childcare. you can click here to sign up.

that's helpful. what if my child is over 2, but still a kid?

we're excited to have them worship along side you as a parent. we're going to have elements throughout the night that will engage kids of all ages. we will have a preschool kit for little kids that will give them some activities to do if they get the wiggles in their seat.

you said wiggles, will they be there?

not this year, but we will have some music right up the kids alley, just not "the wiggles."

what are "the wiggles"?

it's a band for kids, but let's stay focused on encounter: a night of musical worship.

okay, jokes aside. what if my worried about my little one being a part of the night?

we'd encourage you to sit near an aisle and if you need to step out to the lobby with your little one, you can. the lobby and family room will be open for you as a parent.

okay so this night is different than anything we've ever done before.

I'm kind of scared of new things.

why are we doing this?

we believe that GOD'S people coming together to unite hearts in praising HIS name is a good thing. we think we will all benefit.

why all ages?

great questions. we have many opportunities to connect in age specific ministries. every 7 weeks we gather for something for all ages. the leadership at the church wants to see what it's like for us to all worship together.

yes, it is a great thing to see young people and not young people worship together.
