Thangi
Thangi
Assam, India
Converge Worldwide - BGC
Thangi is a linguist who works with the languages of the unreached tribal people of NE India. She studies the structure and patterns of a language, develops an alphabet and dictionary and eventually translates the Bible into the newly written language. Thangi ‘s ministry includes development of indigenous worship forms among tribal people. In some parts of her area there are large numbers of churches. But there are still many unreached tribes in this mountainous area that have no Bible.
