Celebration Choir
Welcome to our 1BL Celebration Choir page!
What's a Celebration Choir? Well, it's sort of a gospel choir in a baptist church...where singers from 1BL (and friends of 1BL) can join together on a given Sunday morning to lift up high energy praise to our Savior Jesus! What's unique about the group is that it's members do the lionshare of rehearsal on "their own time" with Rehearsal CD's/MP3's and Music. There is only ONE mandatory rehearsal (usually the week before) and then it's go time!

OUR NEXT SCHEDULED PERFORMANCE: DECEMBER 4TH
We are excited to launch this new choir beginning Sunday, December 4th for both our 9am and 10:45am services.
MANDATORY REHEARSAL is November 27th from 1-3pm at the 1BL Worship Center. Please come "prepared" as we will not have much time to rehearse parts.
CALL TIME on December 4th is 7:45am sharp.
DRESS CODE IS: Solid "muted" colors. No prints (flowers, stripes, etc.) Jeans are fine. T-shirts are not. Dresses below the knee. Pants/jeans are fine for women. Questions? Email Jeff: jzabel@fbcol.org
We will be singing 3 songs together - -
O Praise Him (with Doxology) - - This high energy Travis Cottrell version of David Crowder's song is a perfect way to kick off our worship set praising our Holy King...with a special bridge singing the Doxology.
Glory to God Forever - - This has become a 1BL favorite and is an amazing anthem of worship and adoration to our God. The chorus drives it home with an inspiring and catchy declaration of "glory to God forever!"
Love Has Come - - This will be our special performance song. Christian artist, Mark Schultz, has written an amazing song about the great love of God that came for us. From the manger to the cross, ressurection, and his second coming, this song "preaches" the gospel and is a wonderful way to start the Christmas season. An acapella ending will no doubt bring it home!!
