Overseeing teams of people that collaborate and serve in our Sunday services and special musical programs. Actively leading and shepherding as an elder of 1BL.

Wife (Sam) taught Kindergarten for 13 years before becoming Mommy to our beautiful daughters (Carlee & Zoe.) Sam = real deal amazing. Me = one lucky dude.

Describe a normal day...

Good times with Jesus. Email inbox shenanigans. Worship music discovery, collection, transposition, practice, and internalization. Service planning. Meeting with leaders, staff, congregants, and co-laborers.

Describe your college years...

Biola '97. Film major. Senior year was when I began to feel a call to vocational ministry. 

Describe your life before 1BL...

I served at Lake Avenue Church in Pasadena (4 years) & Neighborhood Church in Castro Valley (4 years) before I came back "home" to 1BL.

Tough one. Probably mountains. Love me a good nature hike. And snake wrestling.

Peed my pants in front of a stadium full of people while being introduced as the honorary bat boy on the big screen at a Padres game in 1985.

Everyone is addicted to Rascal's special sauce.

If you had to do one other job in a field outside of your own, what would it be:

Film production.
