Seal Beach

We will be heading out to Seal Beach for a morning of building sand castles, riding the waves and just relaxing.  We will be on the north side of the pier, near the lifeguard station closest to the pier.  As you're heading down Main Street, it will be off the parking lot to your right.  Parking is $6 for all day or $3 for 2 hours.

Heritage Park is a unique park with "play island" featuring colonial buildings with hideouts and slides.  Across the lake there is a large, traditional playground.  We'll meet at the traditional playground at 2pm, then explore the island together.  Cookies and juice boxes will be provided for a nice afternoon treat.

Summer Movie & Water Play

Edwards Cinemas is hosting summer movies for only $1 per person.  The movie playing is “How To Train Your Dragon”.  The movie starts at 10 am, but arrive by 9:30 to ensure you get a seat.  After the movie, we'll head over to the water play area and small playground.  Feel free to pack your lunch or grab lunch from the nearby food court.  Bring your kid's bathing suits/towels to get wet in the fountain.
