Women Raising children with Special Needs
Women who are raising children with special needs meet on the first Sunday evening of each month for an uplifting time of prayer and fellowship, followed by dinner together. Many mothers find ample expert advice when navigating the range of services and support for their special needs children, but they crave the kinship and prayerful concern of other women who are walking in the same shoes.
All types of special needs are currently represented, including; autism spectrum disorders, attention deficits, physical disabilities, learning disabilities, birth defects, anxiety disorders, depression, and even terminal illness.
Meetings are held at 5:30 pm on the first Sunday of the month in the 1BL Hospitality Center. Free childcare is provided, and dinner is free, too, but donations are accepted.
